Conceived by Maestro Kent Nagano, this project aims to introduce preschool-age children to intensive music learning. The objective of La musique aux enfants is above all to support children in their overall development and in so doing to contribute to their academic success over the long term. As part of the project, the OSM offers a very special contact with the program participants, their families and the local community.

The initiative, carried out in partnership with Université de Montréal and the Commission scolaire de la Pointe-de-l’Île, will at the same time make it possible to offer new employment opportunities to music school graduates and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the domain of music education for the young.
