FOR THE 2017-2018 SEASON, HELP US REACH OUR GOAL OF $600,000 by supporting:
OSM Youth Concerts and Children’s Corner
Your donation will make it possible for entire families to enjoy classical works by helping us present, in particular:
– 11 Youth Concerts and 3 Children’s Corner concerts per season, which benefit over 22,000 young people from primary and secondary schools
– nearly 250 introduction-to-classical-music sessions in primary schools
– for these activities, ticket prices for children are reduced and accessible
OSM Manulife Competition and educational projects
Your donation will go towards supporting:
– organization of the 78th edition of the OSM Manulife Competition, which will be taking place from November 21 to 25, 2017, at Maison symphonique de Montréal. This year, young Canadian musicians will be judged in the disciplines of Woodwinds, Brass and Voice.
– The OSM is looking to develop stimulating and innovative projects aimed at expanding the participation of young people in concerts now and in the future.

First major gift to culture
Did you know that until December 31, 2017, you can benefit from an additional tax credit of 25% for a first-time major gift to a cultural organization? The government of Québec offers a credit of 25% for any individual gift of $5,000 to $25,000, such that the actual cost of the gift is roughly a quarter of the total amount.
