PATRICE BÉLANGER
OSM YOUTH CONCERTS’ AMBASSADOR
“My family and I have been faithful fans of the OSM Youth Concerts for many years. Attending a concert allows spectators to appreciate all the excitement and power of the orchestra, live. I’ve seen first hand how deeply young people can be moved by the sounds they hear and how they often leave a concert thirsting for more! I invite you to reserve your seats today for this season of OSM Youth Concerts.”
Art only truly exists in society when people are able to take part in it, actively or passively, right from childhood. For this to happen, we need initiatives in place that aren’t merely intended for the elite. I’m talking about opportunities that guarantee that art and classical music will have a long term presence in the education of children and youth, opportunities that allow every child to be exposed to it, regardless of his or her social status, level of education or parents’ financial situation.”
